Sparq Promotes Executive Video Producer

PITTSBURGH — As of the beginning of 2019, Sparq hired Adele Stewart as Executive Producer to head their growing video department. Stewart, formerly the Sparq project manager, has shifted gears to take on a position that she has always wanted.

“I’m really excited to take on this role,” said Stewart. “I have always wanted to write scripts, cast, and direct, which is exactly what I get to do as [Sparq’s] Executive Producer. I’ve always wanted to see ideas come to fruition through film and having this opportunity to say that I worked on something that triggered an emotional connection is what excites me the most.”

With Stewart taking on this position, the Sparq video department will be able to take on larger, more creative videos, offering additional storyboards, treatments, and scripts. Stewart has already worked on major projects for clients such as Proofpoint and IKM, Inc. This year the video department is on pace to nearly double its video output from 2018.

“It has always been important to Jim and I to put people in roles where they can become stars,” said Nick Brucker, Sparq CEO. “The decision to move Adele into a role that allows her to take advantage of her creative nature and passion for production was a no brainer. We feel that this move gives our production team the proper structure and oversight it needs to deliver the best work to our clients.”

The Sparq team is very excited to see what she comes up with next alongside the rest of the video department.
