The Sparq Designs Staff | Where Creativity & Drive Meet Reality
Nick founded Sparq Designs in 2012 while still employed at Philips Healthcare in Pittsburgh. Noticing a need for a more cost effective solution to their marketing and design needs, he started creating the trade show and branding pieces internally. After downsizing in 2012, his position was eliminated but not before taking on Philips as Sparq Designs first notable client.
Nick earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Clarion University from the School of Business. At Clarion, he was a four year member of the Golf team as well as other university organizations.
In 2014, Nick was nominated by the LLS (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) for Pittsburgh’s Man of the Year. Outside of Sparq, he lives in Cranberry and is a partner in a start-up fitness venture.
Jim helped found Sparq Designs in 2012 after spending time as a sales representative on the West Coast and also maintaining a national sports, politics, and pop culture blog. His outgoing and optimistic personality immediately led to new relationships and the opening of new doors. He is also a graduate of Clarion University where he studied Finance and Real Estate.
If he is not working on client projects he is most likely spending time with his family or rating food from various restaurant’s around the city. To date, he has only given out one perfect 10. Email him and ask him who it was!
